GLENRAC’s 35 Anniversary Dinner MC - Monty Haron

GLENRAC’s 35 Anniversary Dinner Entertainer – Murray ‘Muz’ Harlin

Celebrating 35 years of connection, conservation, and community!

We’re thrilled to mark 35 incredible years of serving the Glen Innes region, fostering sustainable natural resource management and caring for our community.

We invite YOU to join us for a special dinner event to celebrate the achievements, the people, and the shared commitment to creating a better future for our region.

We’ll be reminiscing about the journey so far, enjoying good company, and raising a glass to many more years ahead.

Our MC for the night is Monty Haron!

Monty - also known as “Australia’s Cheekiest Wedding Celebrant” - was recently featured on ABC New England's radio story Celebrating Love from the Farm to the City.

Monty Haron describes his life as ‘Double Act’, from working as a farm hand near Glen Innes to being a Marriage Celebrant in Newcastle.

Monty makes regular reappearances at various local Glen Innes events and GLENRAC is thrilled to have him entertain and guide us through the night for our 35th Anniversary Celebration!

Entertainment is by Poet, Author & Entertainer Murray “Muz” Hartin

For years Murray Hartin has been making audiences laugh, cry and visualise the spoken word with his unique style of Australian storytelling.

Muz's poem "Turbulence" is one of the most popular spoken word pieces since "The Man from Snowy River" and when you throw in other yarns like "Fishin' For Cod", "The Hog Whisperer" and "Rain From Nowhere" the bloke from Moree provides plenty of entertainment.

His stories epitomise mateship. Muz will remind you and the family how lucky we are to be Australian.

Having won many awards for his prose, Muz has thrilled audiences with his yarn spinning and wit. GLENRAC is beyond excited to see him in action and hear his gospel.
